In Astoria, Oregon is the Buoy Brewery/Restaurant. It sits at the end of pier, blending in with the other industrial buildings surrounding it. However, when you enter the old fishery building turned brewery, you can see the brewing operation through the glass windows and the warm modern restaurant, with a large open bar, at the end of the hall. The front windows, along the wall set over the Columbia River, have a great view of the river meeting the ocean and portions of the floor are made of glass allow you to see the sea lions beneath the building. This place serves up some great food and beer with amazing views of the river and sea lions.
