Starbucks Roasting Equipment

Starbucks mass produced coffee is burnt to keep it homogenous. It is harder and less efficient, according to the barista at the tasting room, to roast the beans to anything less than burnt. Here, at the tasting room, they can roast small batches of beans to various roasting levels.
